6 days fiy in Gorilla & Wildlife

Destinations Visited: Queen Elizabeth & Bwindi National Parks

Embark on an unforgettable journey through Uganda’s diverse landscapes, from the vast savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park to the dense West African jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This bucket-list adventure offers a rare opportunity to encounter highly endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Your journey begins with an international flight into Entebbe, followed by a domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip, on the outskirts of Bwindi National Park. Home to approximately 340 mountain gorillas, Bwindi is one of the last two remaining protected areas where this great ape subspecies can be found in the wild. Some gorilla families have been habituated to human presence, allowing trekkers to observe them from a respectful and mandated distance as they go about their daily lives. At Mahogany Springs Lodge, your serene accommodation nestled in the forest, you may even spot gorillas wandering right through the backyard!

From Bwindi, you’ll take a scenic flight to Kasese before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, you’ll experience incredible wildlife encounters, from tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector to herds of elephants, hippos, and buffalo roaming the open savannah.

This tour seamlessly blends adventure, wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes, making it a must-do for nature enthusiasts and safari lovers alike.
