Day-to-Day Itinerary

🛬 Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, explore:
✔ Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful tribute to Rwanda’s history.
✔ Local craft markets for authentic souvenirs.
✔ Inema Arts Center, showcasing contemporary Rwandan creativity.

🚗 Day 2: Travel to Ruhengeri (Musanze)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Ruhengeri (now Musanze, approx. 2.5 hours), the gateway to Volcanoes National Park. Along the way, admire the rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages that make Rwanda the “Land of a Thousand Hills.”

Upon arrival, check into Sabinyo Silverback Lodge and enjoy a leisurely afternoon:
✔ Visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village for a taste of traditional Rwandan culture.
✔ Relax at the lodge while taking in breathtaking views of the Virunga Volcanoes.

🦍 Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Today is the highlight of your journey! After an early breakfast, transfer to the Park Headquarters for a briefing before heading into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

🌿 The Gorilla Trekking Experience:
✔ Led by expert trackers, hike through the misty jungle to locate the gorillas.
✔ Spend one magical hour observing their social behaviors up close.
✔ Take in the breathtaking scenery of the Virunga Volcanoes.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Optional afternoon activities:
